There are lots of choices in the village and across this stretch of coast.  Once you have booked your stay, you’ll receive our comprehensive HouseBook which provides you with all you need to know.

Our favourites:

Miss Fea’s Bistro

Miss Fea's is located in the village within The Smugglers Rest, owned by the lovely Will & Stacey.  Just a few steps from the door, our guests visit time and again.  Typically they are open from March to the end of October offering a varied supper menu using local ingredients and they have been recognised with a gold award from Taste of the West in 2022.  It's best to reserve your table here:

Barricane Beach Café Hut

From March to September you’ll find the Barricane Beach Café Hut on Barricane Beach serving up traditional Sri Lankan Curry from 5pm onwards.  Take cash, a blanket, and BYO drinks to settle down and watch the glorious sunset.  Get there before they sell out at 7pm.

Porthole Cafe

The Porthole Cafe sits above Woolacombe Beach and can be accessed through the sand dunes, or via Marine Drive.  It's open all year round and offers panoramic views, with some outside seating.  Using local seasonal ingredients they offer a range of flatbreads, bagels and baguettes alongside colourful taste tingling salads, and homemade sausage rolls and scotch eggs. The coffee and cakes are pretty darned good too.

New Coast Kitchen

New Coast Kitchen is based in nearby Croyde, just 5 miles away.  It's a fabulous walk from the cottage if you have the energy, or a short drive.  Their a la carte dinner menu offers their take on modern British cuisine served within a relaxed environment.  Serving well crafted, seasonal dishes that showcase the best of locally sourced produce. Or join them for lunch, either way book ahead to not be disappointed.

NC

NC (Noel Corston) is a pioneering, critically acclaimed restaurant located at the heart of Woolacombe.  Noel offers one fixed tasting menu which is built around the seasons, reflecting their immediate environment at any given moment in time.  Guests dine at tables set in front of the chef’s open kitchen island; there are eight places available and they offer one sitting per evening.  Reservations are essential.
